With the recent hurricanes lashing the Gulf and stirring up huge storms across much of both Mexico and the United States, the rains again poured down upon Monterrey. But that didn't stop the LLF from hosting one of its wildest cards of the year, nor did it prevent the fans from coming out in force to cheer on the luchadoras!
In the first match of the night, two young newcomers face off in their LLF debuts, as La Hija de Karonte wrestled against Wendy. The first fall was taken by Wendy with a German Suplex. In the second fall, Hija got the submission with a devastating Boston Crab. After a mightily impressive third fall, the victory was claimed by Wendy. There's no doubt about it... both of these young luchadoras have a great future in the LLF!
The evening's second match could have been a main eventer on any other card: a 3 on 3 match that pitted the team of Tsunami, Bandida and Bombon against Perla Negra, Angelica and la Aficionada! Of course, last week Aficionada made her LLF debut, facing Bombon, and both were spoiling to meet up again. This was a wild battle that saw the advantage swing back and forth between both teams, until the rudas managed to win the match with submission holds. Afterward, the rudas offered their beaten opponents a rematch the following week, and the luchadoras agreed. And for good measure, Aficionado even got into a post-match ringside brawl with Bandida!
The main event of the night was a ‘royal rumble' featuring 5 of the LLF's most popular wrestlers. Under the rules of the match, two women will enter the ring first, and every three minutes after that, another will be sent it, until only one woman is left. The order of entry was:
