With the recent hurricanes lashing the Gulf and stirring up huge storms across much of both Mexico and the United States, the rains again poured down upon Monterrey. But that didn't stop the LLF from hosting one of its wildest cards of the year, nor did it prevent the fans from coming out in force to cheer on the luchadoras!

In the first match of the night, two young newcomers face off in their LLF debuts, as La Hija de Karonte wrestled against Wendy. The first fall was taken by Wendy with a German Suplex. In the second fall, Hija got the submission with a devastating Boston Crab. After a mightily impressive third fall, the victory was claimed by Wendy. There's no doubt about it... both of these young luchadoras have a great future in the LLF!

The evening's second match could have been a main eventer on any other card: a 3 on 3 match that pitted the team of Tsunami, Bandida and Bombon against Perla Negra, Angelica and la Aficionada! Of course, last week Aficionada made her LLF debut, facing Bombon, and both were spoiling to meet up again. This was a wild battle that saw the advantage swing back and forth between both teams, until the rudas managed to win the match with submission holds. Afterward, the rudas offered their beaten opponents a rematch the following week, and the luchadoras agreed. And for good measure, Aficionado even got into a post-match ringside brawl with Bandida!

The main event of the night was a ‘royal rumble' featuring 5 of the LLF's most popular wrestlers. Under the rules of the match, two women will enter the ring first, and every three minutes after that, another will be sent it, until only one woman is left. The order of entry was:

  • 1. Pink
  • 2. Dama de Hierro
  • 3. RBD
  • 4. Justiciera
  • 5. La Chacala
Dama de Hierro was eliminated first, followed by RBD and then the American, Pink. That left only Justiciera and Chacala in the ring, and after a terrific battle, Chacala appeared to be on her way to victory when she locked on her "La Camapana" hold on her opponent. However, fate intervened on behalf on Justiciera... in the form of Tsunami, who wasn't about to let her former partner (and now most hated enemy) win this coveted match! A blow to the head dropped Chacala to the mat, and it was easy pickings for Justiciera as she made the cover for the three count. There's no doubt about it... after the results of this match, if and when Chacala and Tsunami face one another in the ring, it's going to be the battle to end all LLF matches!
