Celebrating Independence Day in México, the visiting American teamed with the newcomer Lady Angel to face a tremendous heel duo in Intrusa and, from San Luis Potosi, Lady Dinamita.

Intrusa is a wrestler from the ‘Old School’, which she proved by executing some extremely tough maneuvers on her opponents, with more than a little success for the ruda team for her efforts. At first, however, it appeared that Team Angel, as fans dubbed them, would be too much for their opponents, as Lady Angel eliminated Lady Dinamita while American Angel, with a text book cerrajera, beat Intrusa!

But the second fall went to the ruda team, thanks to referí Mulato helping the heels by turning a blind eye to their double teaming of the Angels. Much of the third fall was dominated by the rudas, but when Intrusa tried to handcuff American Angel with the intent of making her helpless and then crippling her, Mulato decided he couldn’t go along with that and he ordered Intrusa to stop. But despite repeated warnings, Intrusa refused to comply, and even shoved the referee away. So, Mulato awarded the match to Team Angel by disqualification. American Angel demanded a one-on-one match against Intrusa for the following week, and Luciano the promoter agreed to book it.

In the semi-main event, the powerhouse team of Chacala, Polly Star and Tsunami beat in three falls Tigresa del Norte, Princesa Yara and Doncella Guerrera. Tigresa, being a ruda, was an unexpected choice for the technicas as a teammate, but it was an inspired one, as Tigresa not only proved she could work within the rules, but she also gave the rudas some of their own medicine!

This was a tremendous match, with the good girls giving an impressive effort. However, the rudas were simply unstoppable. Indeed, they worked together so flawlessly, there was not a single mistake noticeable in their performance together. The question both the fans and other wrestlers are asking now is, what team can possibly stop the trio of Chacala, Tsunami and Polly Star?

The third match of the night was a hardcore battle between Vampiresa and Shira, continuing their brutal feud. Fans will recall that last week, Shira had to bow out of the Barefoot Match against Vampiresa because of an injury which her rival left her with from their previous match. Some wondered if Shira was 100% for this match, but the beautiful technica was determined to get her hands on her archenemy as soon as possible!

Shira might have wanted to heed the warnings and take it easy for another week, because she was clearly off of her game in this one, and in any battle with Vampiresa, that can prove fatal! The technica fought bravely, but her opponent was simply too vicious, leaving Shira tasting her own blood early in the match. The end came when Vampiresa made a “bed” of fluorescent light tubes and Powerbombed Shira into it, shattered the glass into thousands of shards, cutting Shira even more as she lay nearly unconscious upon the canvas.
When she was finally revived, the furious technica demanded a Mask vs. Hair match for next Friday, and the triumphant Vampiresa happily agreed, convinced she’ll now be able to humiliate her rival by shearing off her luxurious mane

And in the first match of the evening, Felina beat in one fall Reina. Reina surprised the fans with her new outfit in green with her name across the front, but despite the fashion change, she suffered yet another loss, this one perhaps her 15th in a row! Clearly, Reina needs to change something more than her ring suit.
