Awesome luchadoras action in Monterrey!
The initial fight of the evening was a Three Way Dance between REINA VAMPIRA, TIGRESA DEL NORTE, and FLOR DO LOTO, but reality it quickly became a Handicap Match as Tigresa and Flor teamed up and turned on Reina in a most vicious manner, dominating her and quickly eliminating the blood-soaked luchadora! However, LUNA MAGICA and LADY SENSACIÓN then ran into the ring and, demanding the right to avenge their fellow ruda, they declared that this would now be a tag team battle! But while Reina’s aliados were more than eager to take on the technicas, they quickly learned the error of their ways as they too were dominated by Tigresa and Flor!
In the second fight, the duo of POLLY STAR and LA CHACALA, with third partner Tsunami at ringside, faced the team of LADY ANGEL and FELINA. The rudas…not surprisingly…held control of much of this match. What was surprising was that Felina and Angel were able to strike back, and they even had their opponents pinned to the mat with victory at hand! But it was then that Tsunami entered the ring to aid her partners, and the referee declared the match a disqualification. Lady Angel was worked over rather badly by the rudas, and she had to be helped from the ring by LLF personnel.
In the semifinal match, INTRUSA faces DIANA LA CAZADORA in a rousing Barefoot Battle! The fans have really been pulling for Diana to break out of the slump she has been in since she lost the Monterrey City Championship to Chacala early in the summer, but once again tonight, the Huntress fell short of the mark and met with defeat. She has had an affinity for working barefoot of late, but the experience Intrusa knew just how to take advantage of that, attacking her foe‘s feet and toes mercilessly!
In the final, apocalyptic main event, two rivalries were settled in one match, as AMERICAN ANGEL and SHIRA teamed together to battle against TSUNAMI and VAMPIRESA! In addition to honor being on the line, Shira had challenged Vampiresa to make this a Hair vs. Mask Match as well!
In the opening minutes of the match, both teams discovered difficulties in functioning smoothly, as they were all inexperienced at teaming with their new partners. But both sides swiftly adjusted. Shira came close to putting Tsunami down for the pin, but Vampiresa interfered, which drew the Angel into the ring for a brawl between all four luchadoras!
The battle only grows more crazed after that, with Shira in particular suffering greatly, and her face is soon covered in her own blood. Glass light tubes are eventually introduced into the match, with devastating effects on their targets!
After a wild battle, Shira is able to pin Vampiresa and win the match. She then takes great satisfaction in pulling off her rival’s mask, revealing Vampiresa to be Patricia Lomeli, a 13 year veteran of the sport. Whether she will still wrestle under the Vampiresa name now remains uncertain.
