Lucha Libre Femenil again makes history in Monterrey, this time by hosting their very first Royale Rumble! Seven women took part in this event: Diana la Cazadora, Intrusa, La Chacala, Tsunami, Polly Star, American Angel, and Ariel.

The women held nothing back as they battled, and one by one they were eliminated, until it came down to American Angel and Tsunami…with the ruda ultimately winning the victory, but not without great controversy, and it appears that the Referee Mulato chose not to see what could have been Tsunami being eliminated, only to return to the ring and then dispose of the Angel. However she won, Tsunami was awarded the special trophy for her victory.

In the semifinal fight of the evening, the Monterrey City Championship was on the line as Chacala stepped into the ring with Princesa Yara in a Best of Three Falls match. Yara scored the first pin over the champ, a genuine rarity against Chacala, who has been seemingly unbeatable of late. The pinfall really fired up the ruda, and she struck back hard against the technical in the second round, which the champion won with a pinfall of her own. For the third and final fall, both women fought ferociously, but it was Chacala who won and retained her belt, putting her foe away with a spine-damaging finish that may leave the Princesa out of action for a while. In spite of her rulebreaking ways, La Chacala continues to be one of the LLF’s most popular luchadoras, and the fans gave her a huge round of applause for her victory.

In other action from this card...
The Shira/Vampiresa feud continues unabated, this time being waged in a Bull Terrier match that left both luchadoras bloody, and resolved nothing in their ongoing war.

Aurora and Flor de Loto beat Queen Vampira and Zuzuky in tag team action.

The Aztec Queen makes her LLF debut, but falls to La Tigresa del Norte. Despite her defeat, Aztec Queen nevertheless makes an impressive showing for herself.
