MONTERREY ACTION!

Winter came closer to Monterrey, and the temperature was a chilly 5 degrees Celsius outside…but that didn’t stop the fans from filling the arena for another packed show! Tonight’s event would be the final show before the huge 5th Anniversary Spectacular the following week, and fans were anxious to see how the stage would be set for that event at this night’s show.

Reyna Azteca faced Reyna Vampira one another in a continuation of their rivalry. The action quickly spilled out of the ring, and as the two luchadoras battled it out across the arena, the referee counted them both out, resulting in a Double Disqualification.

Next, Intrusa and Tigresa…filling in for the absent Felina and Princesa Yara…teamed up to battle Novia Jason and La Chacala. Although Chacala and Novia are not regular partners, they proved they could work effectively with one another, and they managed to pin their opponents to claim the victory.

In Six Women Tag action, India Sioux, Aurora and Lady Angel faced the threat of Polly Star, La Nazi and Intrusa. This was a tremendous fight that sees the skills of the technicas sorely tested by the raw power of the rudas! It comes down to a third and final fall, which ends when Aurora climbs to the top rope in order to leap down upon Intrusa at ringside…but before she can strike, Polly and La Nazi put India Sioux and Lady Angel to the canvas for a double pinfall.

In the main event of the evening, American Angel returns to Mexico in order to face the menace of Tsunami! Both women battled with equal amounts of technical moves and all-out brawling. The match ends with Tsunami being disqualified, but American Angel is not satisfied with having won the fight this way, and she demands a rematch.

It should be noted that Diana la Cazadora slipped into the arena and intently watched the show, although she was not scheduled to wrestle tonight. Obviously, she’s scouting her competition…but might there be one luchadora in particular whom Diana is keeping an eye on?

All told, this was an exciting run-up to next week’s Anniversary show, which promises to have even more fireworks than tonight’s wild event had!
